Ke’lshan

Ke’lshan is a fortified sept of the T’au Second Sphere, situated beside the Perdus Rift and subjected to repeated raids. Its defensive character reflects the frequency with which hostile forces have attacked it.

The Dark Eldar, the Orks and Hive Fleet Gorgon have each assaulted the sept. During the Tyranid attack, an Imperial fleet from the Damocles campaign arrived roughly 150 years later than intended. It nevertheless fought alongside the T’au against the Tyranids.

The inhabitants of Ke’lshan are regarded as solemn and xenophobic. Following these repeated attacks, they rebuilt the Protection Fleet, the sept’s defensive fleet, through the losses they sustained. The sept remains notable for its long exposure to raiders and invaders on the Perdus Rift.
