Kiavahr System

The Kiavahr System is the Raven Guard's home star system in the Forsarr Sector, a polluted forge well whose inhabited moon Deliverance holds the Ravenspire. Kiavahr itself supplies munitions on a scale that almost matches a full Mechanicus world, while Deliverance was once the prison-moon Lycaeus until Corax led its slaves in revolt.

Corax's uprising, a later Alpha Legion rising, and ten millennia of Raven Guard raids have all used this system's industrial smog as cover. Sister moons Mellori, Nyctimus, and Psophis, plus rocks such as Rhaban and Rubar, share the same charted well. The Chapter still recruits from the forges and the moon rather than relocating to a cleaner fortress.

The Kiavahr System remains the XIX's home because Deliverance is a memory as much as a monastery. Unofficial fan maps keep Kiavahr and Deliverance together; they are one system, not two rival Chapters.
