The Koronus Expanse is the Halo Stars wilderness beyond the Calixis Sector, a Rogue Trader frontier reached through the Maw, not Dawn of War's planet Kronus. This map files the mashed Koronus/Kronus name as a sector under Segmentum Obscurus.

Purity Lathimon sold the passage; Port Wander and Footfall still tax the fools who use it. Winterscale, Chorda, and a stack of warrants hunt heathen worlds, xenos ruins, and Heathen Stars prizes such as Zayth. The Expanse was never Crusade-compliant, which is the point of the warrant.

Koronus still matters as the FFG/Owlcat Rogue Trader map, not Lithesh Sector Kronus. Unofficial summaries keep the Obscurus parent, keep the mashed id, and refuse to merge this region with the Dark Crusade world.
