Krieg System

The Krieg System is the death-world star system in the Uhulis Sector whose hive world chose suicide by atomics and then spent five centuries proving the point. Krieg was a civilised hive until its autocrats seceded in 433.M40 and Colonel Jurten answered with nuclear fire; the Death Korps is what crawled out of the trenches afterward.

The Departmento Munitorum now owns the ash. There is no second garden world in this well to balance the ledgers — just Krieg, fortifications, and a culture that treats a life as a round of ammunition. Segmentum Tempestus maps keep the pin because Krieg regiments are a renewable resource in a way most hive worlds are not.

The Krieg System still matters as a factory of siege infantry, not as a place anyone visits. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Uhulis parent and do not relocate Krieg to Segmentum Solar just because the Death Korps fight everywhere.
