Krieg

Krieg was a hive world until its autocrats seceded in 433.M40 and Colonel Jurten answered with atomic fire. Five centuries of trench war later the Departmento Munitorum owns the ash, and the only export is the Death Korps. Civilians live in bunkers, eat vat gruel, and treat a named grave as a luxury. Nothing grows on the surface, and that is the point.
