Landunder System

The Landunder System is a Malfian hive well whose crust floats on a chemical ocean, with eight cities hanging underneath like lanterns and a ninth, Subrique, punching a spire both above the waterline and almost to the seabed. Firearms are banned because a stray shot can kill a hive's structure, so Landrians settle arguments with named blades.

Colonised in 450.M39, it feeds Malfi and the Lathes with ocean chemicals. Tech-Priests still treat the caustic, lifeless surface as a death world wearing a hive-world badge.

The Landunder System still sits on Calixis charts as the floating-crust pin. Unofficial maps keep the Malfian Sub-sector parent.
