Majestis System

The Majestis System is a star system in the Segmentum Solar whose principal world, Adrastapol, raised six knight houses. Each house honours a Noble Beast, and House Draconis now occupies the Draconspire throne. Four further bodies, Borastus, Lamnofor, Secutol and Triaetos, share the charted system with Adrastapol.

Three of the six houses, Manticos, Chimaeros and Wyvorn, fell to Chaos and were purged. The system was also invaded by Orks on two occasions, and these episodes are collectively remembered as the Ork Wars.

The Majestis System remains significant as a centre of knight power in the Segmentum Solar. It is the home of the Knights of Adrastapol and is not a recruiting world for the Imperial Guard. Unofficial maps continue to place it within the Segmentum Solar.
