Malvolion

Malvolion is an agri-world the Tyranids ate in 992.M41, the Dan Abnett short-story rock whose last Guardsmen watched Lamenters die in an hour. This Ghost Stars pin is that consumed breadbasket, not a general named Malvolion.

Locals found a Tyranid beacon and called for aid. Mordian Iron Guard, Phyrus line, and Paladian armour arrived into a genestealer panic that became a landing minutes later. Evacuation columns died on the roads; the Lamenters' drop did not last. The world is a barren symbol now.

Malvolion still matters as a named Hive Fleet meal. Unofficial summaries keep the Ghost Stars parent even though some lists omit a sector, and do not confuse this agri-world with the later Bastior general of the same name.
