Marax

Marax, also charted as Lacaon VI, is a Chaos-held death world in the Balthar System where Imperial rule gave way to heresy and daemons.

Warpsurges, disturbances of the warp, isolated Marax from the Imperium for centuries. In that period the surface was reduced to blasted city ruins. Survivors sheltered in tunnel systems, while cult forces and daemonic spawn took control of what the storms had left standing.

Conclave reclaim charts place Marax within Tenebra Subsector, under the Balthar System. The world is recorded as having fallen while Argon Prime was consolidating into a dictatorship and Balthar was turning towards cult influence.
