Mezoa System

The Mezoa System is a volcanic forge in the Gothic Sector, raised from Lucius stock with the assistance of Ferrus Manus and the Emperor. It never hosted a Titan legion, because the cooled lava of its surface could not bear the weight of such machines. Its two moons, Mezoa 1 and Mezoa 2, share the crust.

The system refused the demands of Regulus, the envoy of Horus. In 008.M31 it withstood the Mezoan Campaign, in which Cassian Dracos and a hastily assembled loyalist force defeated the Iron Warriors and the Alpha Legion. Its cult follows the Path of the Flame Eternal, which is regarded as unusual even by the standards of the Mechanicus.

The Mezoa System remains notable as a forge that stayed loyal during the Horus Heresy. Unofficial summaries place it within the Gothic Sector.
