Mezoa

Mezoa is a volcanic forge in the Gothic Sector, established from Lucius stock with the assistance of Ferrus Manus and the Emperor. It never hosted a Titan legion, because its cooled lava could not bear the weight of such machines.

Mezoa rejected the approach of Regulus, the envoy of Horus. In 008.M31, during the Mezoan Campaign, Cassian Dracos led a hastily assembled loyalist force against the Iron Warriors and the Alpha Legion. The loyalists defeated both on the volcanic crust, and the forge survived.

Mezoa’s cult follows the Path of the Flame Eternal. Its practices are regarded as unusual even by the standards of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
