Miral Prime

Miral Prime is the nameplate world of the Tempestus Miral System, distinct from the Ultima Scythes battlefield that is also sometimes called Miral. The two are recorded as separate locations, and the name “Miral” alone may therefore refer to either.

The system lay on the southern approach taken by Hive Fleet Leviathan during its advance. Within it, the sister world Miral II was defended by the Imperial Fists under Lysander and Garadon, who held it for seven days.

Miral Prime is placed within the Miral System and is not identified with the battlefield of Giant’s Coffin, which forms a separate entry. Its standing rests chiefly on its position as the principal world of a system that Hive Fleet Leviathan passed through, and on the defence of Miral II.
