Defence of Miral II
The Defence of Miral II was fought in 997.M41 when Imperial Fists under First Captain Darnath Lysander held a fortified position against Hive Fleet Leviathan for seven days. Lysander directed Captain Tor Garadon’s Third Company to mine and bunker the position. The Imperium allotted six days for the preparations; the defenders required seven. Tactical and Devastator fire broke attacking swarms, while First Company veterans closed each breach. Miral II is distinct from Miral Prime, the Scythes of the Emperor last stand at Giant’s Coffin.
