Nimbosa

Nimbosa is an Imperial industrial world on the T’au border.

One account dates the destruction of the Vostroyan Firstborn IX and the fall of Nimbosa to the T’au to 790.M41; later accounts date Commander Brightsword’s capture of the world to 993.M41 and place the Vostroyans’ destruction at the Battle for Polia, not at Koloth Gorge. The Koloth Gorge Massacre, in the later account, was the destruction of a following Imperial relief that included High Marshal Helbrecht, who survived.

The Nimbosa Crusade of 993.M41 recaptured the world from the T’au. Helbrecht ordered a pursuit from a Chapter keep raised in the Hebrak Mountains. Nimbosa remained contested after that recapture.
