Octarius Sigma

Octarius Sigma is a zero-confidence location entry placed within the Ghost Stars and is distinct from the Octarius Sector. It is a residual entry: some maps place an additional Sigma far from Gargates. It does not denote the mountain capital of Octarius the Overfiend, which is recorded separately under the Octarius Sector.

Kryptman steered Hive Fleet Leviathan into the Octarius empire proper, and the Swarmlord later isolated and killed the Overfiend. Those events belong to the Octarius Sector and the Octarius War, not to this entry. Octarius Sigma has no mega-continent and no shanty capital, and its parent region is the Ghost Stars rather than the Octarius Sector. Epsion Octarius is a separate swamp world in the Solar region, and Epsilon Octarius is a leftover spelling of the sector name.

Octarius Sigma retains standing only as a leftover name and not as a second seat of the Overfiend. Unofficial summaries keep its Ghost Stars parent, do not attribute the Octarius War to it, and do not reassign it to the Octarius Sector entry.
