Orar System

The Orar System is a Gothic Sector hive well and the namesake of the Orar Sub-sector, remembered for an early 12th Black Crusade reversal rather than for being Abaddon's personal prize. Planet Orar sits on the Bhein Morr–Orar corridor the rest of the Gothic War kept using.

Captain Compel Bast's battlegroup was already at stations when Warmaster Malefica Arkham tried a surprise raid; the Imperious chased the Chaos fleet out. For the rest of the war this well was a Navy door, not a Blackstone parking orbit.

The Orar System still matters as a Gothic hive that actually won its opening fight. Unofficial maps keep the Orar Sub-sector parent and do not confuse the pin with neighbouring Anvil 206's fortress.
