Ormeus System

The Ormeus System is a gravity well in the Agartha Sub-sector of the Caligari Sector, where Webway rifts continue to feed Drukhari slaver raids. The Agartha Sub-sector is a declining Imperial cluster, and the system lies within its charted space.

The hive world Ormeus II was harvested until its spires stood empty. The star fort Minos then received the refugees and, in time, the criminal element that accompanied them. Inquisitor warbands continue to operate in the system because attempts to collapse the extra-dimensional network of the Webway have failed. Boron Primaris, the numbered Ormeus bodies, Sacra Acephal and Sacred Vault HS-1011 occupy the same charted space.

The system is treated as a setting for Tempestus Inquisition activity and is not regarded as a neighbour of the Calixis Sector. It remains significant as a Webway breach within the Caligari Sector that the Ordo has been unable to seal. Unofficial fan summaries retain Agartha as the parent sub-sector and do not posit a second Scintilla within it.
