Pech System

The Pech System is a Kroot nest system in Ultima Segmentum, consisting of a jagga-forest gravity well and five charted companion worlds. Its principal world abandoned its hives after Anghkor Prok swore the Kroot kindreds to the T’au. The companion worlds, Chata, Kraw, Nokoh’mys, Okwa and Por’loq, form part of the same charted nest.

Kroot kindreds continue to migrate to the system by instinct. Dark Eldar raided it in 991.M41, and Hive Fleet Gorgon later attacked it. The swarm was cleared with the assistance of T’au cadres. The system is a Kroot home and not a Fire Caste sept.

The Pech System remains a forest environment that the T’au have not brought fully under their administration and that the Imperium has not located. Unofficial fan summaries retain Ultima Segmentum as its parent region and do not relabel its map pin as Vior’la.
