Pech System

The Pech System is the Kroot nest well in Ultima Segmentum, a jagga-forest gravity well whose principal world abandoned its hives after Anghkor Prok swore the kindreds to the T'au. Sister rocks Chata, Kraw, Nokoh'mys, Okwa, and Por'loq share the same charted nest.

Kindreds still migrate home by instinct. Dark Eldar raided it in 991.M41, and Hive Fleet Gorgon later hit it until T'au cadres helped clear the swarm. This is a Kroot home, not a Fire Caste sept.

The Pech System still matters as the forest the T'au cannot quite civilise and the Imperium cannot quite find. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Ultima parent and refuse to relabel the pin Vior'la.
