Port Maw Subsector

The Port Maw Sub-sector is the Gothic Sector naval district centred on Port Maw, headquarters of Battlefleet Gothic.

The 60th Expeditionary Fleet found the hollow artificial planetoid in the Coronid Deeps; its aperture of roughly five hundred kilometres gives the station its name. In the Horus Heresy traitor officers turned its panopticon against loyalists; in the Gothic War Chaos forces blockaded it rather than storming its mines and forts.

Neighbouring bodies such as Kiliman IV, Bretz, Acre, and Kelshok Station share the sub-sector. Port Maw itself sits under the Port Maw System within this sub-sector parent.
