Posul

Posul, also spelled Prosul, was a feral night world inhabited by cannibal tribes and used as a recruiting ground by the Mortifactors Chapter. A feral world is one whose inhabitants live at a pre-industrial level of development.

Sasebo Tezuka’s Chapter observed the planet from the orbiting Basilica Mortis, a star-fort (a large orbital fortress). Hive Fleet Leviathan, a Tyranid swarm, consumed Posul in 997.M41.

The destruction of the planet ended its role as the Mortifactors’ recruiting ground. The Basilica Mortis survived and remains in flight, with no world beneath it.
