Rahe’s Paradise
Rahe’s Paradise was a world of the Imperium, once a Necron tomb world and later an Aeldari Exodite world, that served the Blood Ravens as a recruiting ground until its destruction in late M41. The Aeldari also called it Lsathranil’s Shield, after the artefact that the Farseer Lsathranil of Ulthwé raised there to keep its sleeping Necrons dormant. Its Exodites had abandoned it during a long desertification remembered as the Great Conflagration and taken refuge on Craftworld Kaelor.
Humans resettled the planet about ten thousand years ago, and an unidentified Chapter of Space Marines built a fortress there, agreed to keep vigil over the Shield and later departed. In late M41 Gabriel Angelos brought the Third Company to conduct the Blood Trials just as Farseer Macha of Biel-Tan arrived with the Swordwind to preserve the Shield. Fighting between the two forces destroyed an Aeldari Dragonship whose psychic death-cry shattered the Shield and woke part of the Necron host and its lord.
After the awakened Necrons were defeated, Angelos ordered the world’s Exterminatus, which left Rahe’s Paradise a dead world turned inside out. Imperial records give no segmentum, sector or system for it.
