Sagan VII

Sagan VII is a numbered world in the Sagan System, associated with the logistical support of the Badab War rather than with Sagan III. It is distinct from Sagan III, which the Administratum’s tithe records treat as the principal prize of the system.

Sagan VII is one of seven numbered worlds that, together with an eighth alias, share the Karthan door into the Maelstrom Zone. It is the last numeral before that alias; the Sagan VIII alias is held by the separate entry for Luminal. The virus-weapons and the fleet anchorage associated with the system belong to the history of Sagan III rather than to that of Sagan VII. This map lists Sagan VII under the Sagan System.

Sagan VII is neither the home world of a Chapter nor a second Badab. Its standing is that of the last numbered sibling in the system’s logistical network. Unofficial summaries retain it under the Sagan System, do not absorb the warehouse dossier of Sagan III into its entry, and do not merge it with Luminal.
