Sanctus Subsector

The Sanctus Sub-sector is the Sanctus Reach region of the Ultima Segmentum, a knight-world neighbourhood of Alaric Prime. It takes its name from the star Sanctus, which also gives the chart its designation. A law permitting two knight houses to maintain a perpetual feud remains unrepealed there.

Waaagh! Grukk and the later Sanctus Reach campaigns committed Orks, Knights and Space Wolves to combat across Obstiria, Ghul Jensen and Squire’s Rest. These worlds form the principal locations of the sub-sector’s recorded conflicts.

The Sanctus Sub-sector remains significant as a bounded campaign setting, and it should not be confused with Imperium Sanctus, the realm. It is not a Rift-era half-Imperium. Unofficial maps place it under its parent Ultima Segmentum and do not file it under the Cicatrix.
