Scarato

Scarato was a penal world of the Imperium that, during the Horus Heresy, fell under the dominion of the Sons of Horus, who imprisoned and terrorised its population and its governor, Baroness Naima Starothrendar. A general uprising among the prisoners, supported by Raven Guard forces under Corax, overthrew the garrison and restored the world to Imperial hands. Corax subsequently made use of Scarato’s astropaths to broadcast a summons across the sector, rallying survivors of the Shattered Legions to his cause and gaining more than three hundred legionaries to his depleted ranks.
