Sin of Damnation

The Sin of Damnation is a space hulk, with no coordinates recorded, and it is not recorded as a body of the Baal system.

In 589.M41 Rogue Trader Borrak Vorra sighted it near the Blood Angels’ fortress-monastery on Baal; the Chapter’s 1st Company, commanded by Captain Michaelus Raphael and numbering more than eighty veterans in Terminator armour, boarded it, cleared it of genestealers, and recovered an ancient Blood Angels artefact. One account numbers the genestealers in the thousands; another says about forty thousand.

Lexicanium Calistarius, later Mephiston, was present as an honorary member of the company and did not command. The boarding followed a disaster six hundred years earlier, when a failed assault on another hulk in the Secoris system had left the Blood Angels with fifty Marines.
