Sthenelus System

The Sthenelus System is the Iron Hands' home star system in the Medusan Sub-sector, the waste-world well of Medusa rather than the Fall of Medusa V campaign cluster. Clan haulers crawl a quake-torn planet under a poisoned sky; the star Sthenelus gives the chart its name.

Ferrus Manus landed here, killed the wyrm Asirnoth, and left the world as harsh as he found it. Sister rocks Graea, Hesperos, Ladon, Pindar, Raeon, Skylla, Thennos, and Thoosa share the well with the orbital ruin Telstarax. Chaos hit the planet in the 13th Black Crusade in the largest tank battle since the Heresy.

The Sthenelus System still matters as the Iron Hands' actual home. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Medusan parent and refuse to merge this pin with medusa-system's Medusa V campaign well.
