Medusa

Medusa is the waste world of the Iron Hands, a quake-torn planet of ash and poisoned skies inhabited by clan haulers.

Ferrus Manus landed on Medusa, killed the wyrm Asirnoth, and left the world as harsh as he had found it. Chaos forces later attacked the planet during the 13th Black Crusade, a Chaos offensive associated with Abaddon. The engagement became the largest tank battle since the Horus Heresy. Subsequent raids led to the quarantine of infected ground.

Medusa connects several threads of Iron Hands history: the contest between Ferrus Manus and Asirnoth, the clan-company culture of the world, the resistance led by Shadrak Meduson, and the tank war of the 13th Black Crusade.
