Tallarn System

The Tallarn System is the desert star system of Segmentum Tempestus whose principal world, Tallarn, is Imperial shorthand for the largest tank war in human history. It was an agri-world until the Iron Warriors virus-bombed it and then had to fight the survivors in sealed armour.

The armour battle was fought for a warp gate under the sand, not for the sand itself. Desert Raiders still come from the tribes in those tunnels. Biel-Tan later helped bury the Cursus of Alganar a second time.

The Tallarn System still matters as the tank grave that keeps exporting Desert Raiders. Unofficial summaries keep the Tempestus parent and do not relocate the pin to the Eye.
