Talos System

The Talos System is this map’s designation for the Gryphonne forge system in the Shiola Sub-sector of the Alduin Sector. Some reference works use the name Gryphonne System instead; this overlay retains the existing Talos identifier. The entry does not concern Talos of the Night Lords, and it does not denote a second Nostramo.

Gryphonne IV was a Tempestus forge with defences of Mars grade, the Legio Gryphonicus, and an eight-system dominion known as the Octad. Hive Fleet Leviathan consumed the world in the late forty-first millennium (M41). Survivors withdrew to Tolkhan with data-cores and a small number of Titans. Gryphonne III, a neighbouring world, lies within the same charted system.

The Talos System is remembered as the lost southern forge. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Shiola Sub-sector as its parent and do not file the location under Talos of the Night Lords.
