Targus VIII

Targus VIII is an Imperial hive world, formerly held by Orks, on the fringes of the Halo Stars. One Imperial atlas places it in Segmentum Tempestus, in the galactic south. In 862.M41 it was the principal theatre of Waaagh! Skullkrak, during which Shadow Captain Kayvaan Shrike and the Raven Guard 3rd Company fought a two-year guerrilla campaign behind Ork lines after their extraction Thunderhawk was destroyed. As of M42 the world still harbours Ork settlements.
