Tarinth

Tarinth was a world in the Elysia Sector of the Ultima Segmentum, without attested coordinates and not to be confused with the Drop Troops world of Elysia. In 723.M36 Abaddon attacked Tarinth and burned the city of Kasyr Lutien.

At Kasyr Lutien, Abaddon sacrificed ten million inhabitants of the city and used the sacrifice to summon the daemon prince Doombreed. The Warhawks and Venerators Chapters, committed to the defence of Tarinth, were destroyed in the fighting that followed.

The destruction of two Chapters at Kasyr Lutien stood among the heavier losses inflicted on Imperial forces during the Black Crusades. Coordinates for Tarinth are not recorded.
