Typhon System

The Typhon System is a jungle system in Subsector Aurelia containing Typhon Primaris, the planet depicted in Dawn of War II. This entry treats Typhon Primaris as the Blood Ravens world. It does not refer to the location that some maps label Typhon among the Ghost Stars.

A dead craftworld lies beneath the system’s swamps. Orks and Tyranids contested the jungle canopy until the Ordo Malleus ended the fighting with cyclonic torpedoes. Alaitoc sought to preserve the craftworld’s buried infinity circuit but did not succeed. Typhon Septimus lies within the same charted system.

The Typhon System remains notable as the devastated jungle of Aurelia. This record retains Aurelia as its parent subsector and is kept distinct from any second Typhon in the Ghost Stars. The distinction is maintained in unofficial fan summaries.
