Exterminatus of Typhon Primaris
The Exterminatus of Typhon Primaris was the destruction of a Blood Ravens jungle world in Subsector Aurelia by the Ordo Malleus using cyclonic torpedoes. The Ordo Malleus is an order of the Inquisition, and an Exterminatus is the destruction of a world by bombardment. The planet is the one depicted in *Dawn of War* and is distinct from the Ghost Stars location that some maps label Typhon. Before the bombardment, Orks and Tyranids contested the planet’s canopy. During the First Aurelian Crusade, the Blood Ravens under Gabriel Angelos and Davian Thule fought the Tyranids, while Apollo Diomedes and the Force Commander’s squad operated beneath the canopy. A dead craftworld, an Aeldari vessel-city, lay beneath the swamps. Alaitoc, a craftworld of the Aeldari, attempted to save its buried infinity circuit, the store of departed souls, and failed. The Ordo Malleus then ended the contest by bombarding the planet with cyclonic torpedoes. The Exterminatus destroyed Typhon Primaris as a living world. The event is recorded chiefly because Blood Ravens, Orks, Tyranids, Aeldari and Inquisitorial forces converged on a single planet.
