Uralan

Uralan is a world that holds the Tower of Silence, a shifting labyrinth in which the Chaos Gods keep what they will not leave abroad.

During the First Black Crusade, Ezekyle Abaddon entered the Tower of Silence, passing guardians formed of dark energy, and in its mirrored heart grasped a shard of shifting darkness. The daemon Drach’nyen, known as the End of Empires, then took the form of a blade in his grasp. Accounts differ as to when this occurred: one dates the claiming of the sword to 781.M31, the year the First Black Crusade began; another places it at the end of a war that began in that year and lasted decades. Both accounts are recorded, and neither is preferred over the other.

Little else is recorded of Uralan beyond the Tower of Silence. Abaddon carried Drach’nyen away from the world, and the blade has remained his weapon since, drawn on later occasions including the breaking of the gates of the Kromarch’s citadel.
