Urk

Urk is an Ork world in the Zornian System of Segmentum Solar. No coordinates are recorded. It was the home world of the Ork warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka and was rich in minerals.

Urk’s equatorial regions were largely desert, broken by mountain ranges, and the climate cooled toward frozen regions in the far north and south. The world had two moons.

Urk’s star later died and became a red giant, leaving the world frozen and inhospitable to life. In late M41, Ghazghkull united the Ork clans of Urk and left the world as its star failed.
