Vaxanide System

The Vaxanide System is a Malfian Sub-sector hive well on the Calixis rim, always slightly too poor and too lawless to join Scintilla's inner circle. House Vaxanide rules from Hive Vaxanhive, exports porcelain, glass, and fish, and keeps a Drusus shrine that pilgrims swear works.

Ork raids in 410.M41 and the hulk Pinnacle of Savagery in 507.M41 both died on Battlefleet Calixis' guns. Outside the hive precincts the law thins out. This is a rim hive, not a sector capital.

The Vaxanide System still matters as the Malfian door Calixis never quite civilised. Unofficial summaries keep the Malfian parent and do not promote the pin to Scintilla's equal.
