Voss System

The Voss System is the entry for Voss, a Segmentum Solar forge world listed under the Armageddon Sector’s Voss Sub-sector, distinct from Voss Prime. Voss is a manufactory of the Great Crusade period. This map treats it as a world in its own right, not as a synonym for Voss Prime.

Voss was founded in the Age of Strife and reunited with the Imperium early in the Great Crusade. It became known for producing Malcador tanks and for holding mineral rights on Cthonia. During the Horus Heresy the world aligned with the Dark Mechanicum, yet Archmagos Trahn was sent from it to assist in the retaking of Cthonia. The Imperium later reclaimed the world. Voss Prime, known as the Right Hand of Mars, is a separate location, parented to Segmentum Solar.

The Voss System is retained as the Heresy-era forge that this chart has already researched. It is not a duplicate of the forge world neighbouring Armageddon. The unofficial notes for 40k Orrery keep the voss-subsector parent and decline to merge the two Voss labels.
