World-Prince’s World

The World-Prince’s world is the unnamed planet of the World Prince Campaign of 999.M30, remembered for the confrontation between Rogal Dorn of the Imperial Fists and Alpharius of the Alpha Legion over the methods of Imperial compliance. No personal name for the world, and no segmentum, sector or galactic coordinates, are firmly recorded.

Hive by hive the Imperial Fists had been reducing its resistance when Alpha Legion operatives, whose presence on the surface Dorn could not fix, fomented uprisings and engineered the assassination of four hundred and one members of the ruling nobility, including the World-Prince’s entire family, by people close to each victim. The broken World-Prince surrendered to Dorn in person. In the throne room afterwards Dorn confronted Alpharius, rejected his manner of war, and ordered Alpha Legion operatives off the world.
