Yarant I

Yarant I is a Segmentum Solar world in the Yarant well of the Horus Heresy Wolf Cull, the first numbered rock of the system where Russ's wounded Legion made its stand. This pin is that Heresy neighbour, not a later 40k namesake.

Published battle maps centre the killing on Yarant III; I and IV still sit in the same Solar chart as the rest of the well. Abaddon's traitors owned the orbitals. Corax's relief and the evacuation ran through this gravity before the Wolves left the Cull behind. Sibling yarant already tells the III story in full.

Yarant I still matters as part of the Wolf Cull system, not a random Solar colony. Unofficial summaries keep the Solar parent and refuse to invent a separate 40k war for this number.
