Leman Russ

Leman Russ is the primarch of the Space Wolves, raised on Fenris among its tribes and later its king. He was the Emperor's executioner, sent where diplomacy had already failed, and he never pretended otherwise.

He burned Prospero under a warped order, wounded Horus with the Spear of Russ, and stood on Terra too late to change the Siege. After the Heresy he vanished into the Eye hunting a cure for his father, leaving only a promise of the Wolf Time.

The Wolves still wait. Bjorn keeps the hall in his name. Whether Russ can still come back as a man, or only as a myth the Chapter needs, is a question Fenris does not ask aloud.
