Yarant IV

Yarant IV is the fourth numbered world of the Yarant system in Segmentum Solar, associated with the Wolf Cull of the Horus Heresy. In that episode Leman Russ’s Legion was very nearly destroyed. This entry concerns the Heresy-era world of that name and not any later Warhammer 40,000 namesake.

The published site of the fighting is Yarant III; Yarant IV lies within the same Solar chart, which the traitor forces under Abaddon blockaded. Corax’s Raven Guard, for its part, broke through the Yarant system during the same period. Yarant III is described in its own entry, and the numbered worlds are kept distinct.

Yarant IV retains significance as a component of the Wolf Cull system. Unofficial summaries preserve its Segmentum Solar parentage and record no separate Warhammer 40,000 campaign for this numbered world.
