Zaebus Minoris

Zaebus Minoris is the concealed feral homeworld of the Red Scorpions Chapter, located in the Ordon Rift. It is an arid world inhabited by tribal societies. Apothecaries of the Chapter remove infants from these tribes, which regard them as gods.

Carab Culln originated among these tribes. The Chapter’s fortress-monastery is Vigil, a station in orbit rather than a keep on the surface, a arrangement that reflects the Red Scorpions’ emphasis on crusading over garrison duty. The Segmentum Tempestus continues to plot the world, but the Chapter prefers that its coordinates remain a matter of rumour. Zaebus Minoris is neither a recruiting world of the Night Lords nor an unaffiliated feral world listed by the Segmentum Tempestus.

Zaebus Minoris remains the Red Scorpions’ sealed source of recruits. Accounts of the world retain the Segmentum Tempestus as its parent segmentum, place it within the Ordon Rift as an unmapped secret, and distinguish it from Vigil, the orbital station.
