Zantragora

Zantragora, also spelled Zantragorra, is a Necron tomb world in Ultima that serves as a Cryptek laboratory planet. The conclave of the Illuminor Szeras uses it as a source of live samples, and the tomb has not remained dormant. Its lords seek to recover their flesh.

Legions and fleets raid for captives, who are then used in prolonged apotheosis experiments beneath the planet’s crust. The tomb treats biotransference as an error, and its Cryptek staff apply the process to other beings. Zantragora is distinct from a Craftworld, from Commorragh, and from a general xenos menagerie.

Zantragora remains notable as the named world of Szeras’s experimental work. Unofficial fan summaries retain the Ultima parent and the Zantragorra alias, and they do not classify the location as a Dark Eldar city or as a Craftworld.
