Zaramund

Zaramund is an Imperial world in the Zaramund System, in Segmentum Obscurus, fairly close to Caliban. No coordinates are recorded. It became a shipyard world that organised fleets for the Great Crusade.

During the Great Crusade, Zaramund was invaded by Dark Angels, Luna Wolves, and Death Guard forces. The campaign caused a dispute between Lion El’Jonson and Luther, and Luther was exiled back to Caliban. During the fighting, Calas Typhon developed painless boils, which he hid. Chaos cultists addressed him as Typhus, and an elderly woman told him they had been saved by Nurgle. A Dark Angels warrior named Vastobal, sent by Luther to watch Typhon, attacked him; Typhon killed Vastobal and ordered a withdrawal. No year is recorded.

A later Heresy-era rendezvous, following the Second Zaramund Campaign, took place in the Zaramund System with Typhon’s fleet, and is not recorded as a landing on the world itself.
