Zorya Subsector

The Zorya Sub-sector is a division of the Vidar Sector, in the Eastern Fringe, that contains Mandragora, the crownworld of the Sautekh Dynasty. A crownworld is the principal world of a Necron dynasty.

Mandragora serves as a stasis-crypt, a repository of dormant Necron troops, and holds soldiery dating from the War in Heaven. Imotekh later marched these forces against nearby tombs held by Orks. Davatas shares the sub-sector chart with Mandragora. Although the region carries an Imperial sub-sector designation, its character is that of a Necron territory rather than a shrine diocese.

The Zorya Sub-sector remains significant as the immediate approach to the seat of the Stormlord, Imotekh. In this catalogue it retains the Vidar Sector as its parent, and Mandragora is recorded as a child location of this entry.
