Scabeiathrax the Bloated is one of Nurgle's mightiest Great Unclean Ones, a walking epidemic with a sense of humour that includes continents. Where Ku'gath experiments and Rotigus rains, Scabeiathrax arrives as the finished product: a father-of-plagues too large for a single battlefield and too cheerful to hurry.

Imperial daemonologies file him near the top of Nurgle's court, which is a polite way of saying whole sectors have been his hobby. He does not need a clever scheme. He needs time, warmth, and a population that thinks it has already survived the worst.
