13th Black Crusade on Belisar

The 13th Black Crusade on Belisar was an episode of the 13th Black Crusade, the campaign of the renegade commander Abaddon the Despoiler, late in the 41st millennium. On Belisar, an Imperial hive world in the Cadian Sector, the Emperor’s Children, led by Lucius the Eternal, butchered the population. At the same time, warbands of the Night Lords moved into the Scarus Sector, and cells of the Alpha Legion revealed themselves across Segmentum Obscurus, delaying the arrival of Space Marine reinforcements. Psychic echoes of the massacre still linger within the warp, endangering Navigators who guide starships through it, and the Imperium has since begun repopulating the world.
