Crusade of Thunder

The Crusade of Thunder was an Imperial crusade against the Orks of the Magor Rift in the late 41st millennium, ending with the Fall of Malodrax in 971.M41. No single home world is recorded for the rift as a whole. Captain Darnath Lysander, temporarily commanding the rebuilt Imperial Fists 3rd Company after Taladorn, led the effort from the Storm of Wrath with Chaplain Markov and Veteran Sergeant Tor Garadon. On Kalin II the company relieved the shattered Cadian 95th, destroyed Ork factories around Shivanol, and Lysander slew the Ork warboss on the Gansha Plains. In the Viashan System the company boarded an Ork star fort, set it on a collision course with Viashan I, and escaped as it struck the planet. The crusade later closed at Malodrax.
