Gershom Cognitae plot
The Gershom Cognitae plot was a Cognitae conspiracy on Gershom, uncovered by the Magos investigations of Valentin Drusher. The plot bore the character of Enuncia and the Yellow King, to which it was compared. Eisenhorn arrived on Gershom while the earlier hunt conducted by Ravenor remained present in the official records. The Cognitae cell used local terror and language-related work as cover for its activities. The Magos case eventually compelled the Ordos to re-examine the reports concerning the planet’s fauna. The Gershom investigation did not bring the Cognitae to an end. It did, however, identify the next avenue of inquiry.
