Gershom

Gershom was the world of Valentin Drusher, a Magos Biologis, where a Cognitae cell and an Enuncia surge drew Eisenhorn back into Ravenor’s long war.

Drusher’s work on the world was the cataloguing of fauna, while the heretics active there concerned themselves with grammar. The investigation known as The Magos opened leads relating to the Yellow King, but it gave the Ordos no clear map of the conspiracy. Each of the heretics’ carefully constructed sentences was followed by another quiet death in the hinterland.

Gershom retains its standing as the location pin for The Magos, placed under the Scarus sector. Unofficial notes keep the Scarus-sector parent and identify a rival Ultima entry, a “jambonium” stub, as a misleading placement.
